TimberRooms was established by David Rodgers. David has over 20 years experience in the construction industry both in Ireland and the UK. David has vast experience in all stages of construction work.
David originally trained as a carpenter but later moved in to the area of ground work - foundations, machine work etc. Over the years David had built a number of timberrooms for clients who had requested them specifically. From the time spent in this area, David identified the construction of such dwellings could be streamlined in a way that would allow them to be modelled as products, allowing the customer to customize these products. Hence, from building up experience in this specialist area, the manufacturing process could be tweaked to make it extremely efficient.
Furthermore, the economies of scale that is achieved by building large numbers of timberrooms ensures that a very attractive price can be offered to customers. From the outset, TimberRooms.com is not bringing a particlarly novel or innovative product to the market, however it is bringing a product that is in high demand to the market and a very competitive price.
